Accounting and Reporting
  • Management of expenses: tracing payments to internal and external stake holders;
  • Mange and improve the monthly close process, including and not limited to: GL, BS, A/R, revenue recognition, accruals, reconciliations, and fixed assets;
  • Working with HR, review and approve payroll for processing;
  • Accurate and timely monthly reporting of numbers along with variance analyses.
Financial Policy
  • Manage, improve and enforce policy related to travel, credit card usage, and other expense line items to properly gain control of expenses;
  • Manage supervisory and interpretation fee payments to physicians;
  • Develop strong internal controls.
Audit and Tax
  • Work with external auditors to facilitate smooth annual audits;
  • work with external team for tax filings.
  • Lead the RCM team, including Billing, Posting and Collections;
  • Manage external vendor for insurance collections to ensure prompt collections and cash inflows while reducing overall cycle times; 
  • Supervise a staff accountant/reporting analyst and the RCM supervisor (and underlying team).

  • Solid understanding of GAAP and RCM; 
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, finance, or related area, and over 8 years of progressive experience.
Core Competencies
  • You should feel comfortable with Controller-level work and interact with all facets of the company daily;
  • You should be able to work through various requests involving:  Improving and running accounting processes, Managing relationships with banks, tax accountants, and corporate insurance providers;
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks.  We are a Microsoft Office 365 environment, so you will need to be familiar with the suite including Teams video conferencing tools to facilitate meetings.
